Why doesn't Council provide free worm farms along with rubbish bins? This will reduce waste. The worm fertiliser is the best way for improving plant health and it comes for free. The plants then improve the air quality and reduce carbon dioxide.

Agree and I've tried to go into cost vs benefit analysis for this. But essentially it would be in the council's favour if there was less waste going to landfill for sure.
The worms help improve soil quality. The worms could also be provided for community garden patches, public parks etc. I'm sure there's a case for improving soil quality.

Maybe target poor soil quality and distribute worms where it's needed?
