All ads include carbon and emission data and info, in plain language

All advertisers should be compelled to include climate change/carbon footprint/emissions info in all ads. This should be monitored and enforced by a crack unit in the Advertising Standards Authority, or someone else. 

Car ads MUST be included in this as it needs to become the key driver of vehicle selection, but the footprint of the cheap bananas advertisedby supermarkets must also be disclosed. 

This idea would make the carbon footprint of every product a normal part of everyone’s decision making, and normalise it.

At the moment the 6 star vehicle efficiency rating is rubbish. Why would a car get 1 star for having absolutely atrocious efficiency?
